Christian Chabot is Chairman and Co-founder of Tableau Software (NYSE: DATA). Chabot served as Tableau’s CEO from 2003 to 2016, leading the company to fourteen consecutive years of record sales and customer growth. Under Chabot’s leadership, Tableau grew from a revolutionary idea to make data useful for everyone into one of the most important software companies in the world. With multinational operations in fifteen cities, Tableau has grown to more than 50,000 customer accounts in 150 countries. The company has been named a “best place to work” numerous times. Christian started his career as a data analyst at Cornerstone Research, a consulting firm, where he first became a bona fide data geek. He is the author of Understanding the Euro: The Clear and Concise Guide to the Trans-European Currency (McGraw-Hill), which he wrote as a Robert Bosch Foundation Fellow. He holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BS from Stanford’s School of Engineering.
